Urgent support for European schools welcoming Ukrainian child refugees

The Including Children Affected by Migration (ICAM) programme has developed guidance, resource packs and coaching workshops for primary and secondary schools across Europe to help them welcome and include Ukrainian children and begin to repair the social and emotional disruption they have suffered.

Once the urgent physical needs are met in their new home, Ukrainian children will also need immediate and ongoing help to restore their social and emotional wellbeing before they can regain their capacity to learn and benefit from the welcome and renewed education they are receiving from their new school community.
